"3/8" slices of baguette, some brie , black figs (if you can find them, balsamic dressing and you have a wonderful appetizer. Serve room temp or warm -( I like warm). I use dried moist light colour4d figs. I can never find fresh or Black figs. The original recipe was from "All Recipes" . with some changes by me."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Pre-heat the oven 350f
Step 2
Toast the baguette slices on one side, remove from oven and flip the slices so the soft side is up
Step 3
Cut the brie into 16 slices,
Step 4
Place 1 piece of brie on each toast
Step 5
Cut the figs into 16 pieces
Step 6
Place a piece of fig on top of the brie
Step 7
Just before serving (or warming) drizzle the balsamic dressing over the toasts
Step 8
Serve either at room temp or warm
Step 9
If warming 10 minutes in 350 oven will just warm the cheese but not melt it.
