Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Slice bread in half lengthwise and place on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush cut side of each loaf with a little olive oil. Bake for 5-6 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Step 3

Spread some pizza sauce on each bread half (1/2 or a little more should be enough), then top each with some mozzarella cheese. Add desired toppings. Evenly sprinkle bread halves with remaining with more mozzarella cheese.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is heated through.
