This recipe was made on 10/23/13 for the " Pick Me ! " Tag Game. Instead of using the sauce for veggies,it was used as a topping for Chili Cheese Dogs. For the 1/2 cup cheese,I used a blended cheese. It contained Vermont Cheddar & mild California Jack.I made the recipe as it was written, but for some reason the sauce turned out sort of grainy. Even though it was a bit grainy, we still enjoyed it. Thanks for posting and, " Keep Smiling :) "

Lovely basic cheese sauce as the title says. I made this with a cheddar/jack blend that I had on hand, and mixed it with cooked broccoli for a lovely side dish with chicken and broiled tomatoes. Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.

Delicious! Thick, creamy cheese heaven about sums it up! I used Cheddar along with the Parmesan cheese and it worked so well together. I love the addition of the Parmesan... It really adds lots of flavor. I made to top some linguine, and had it with a ham steak on the side. Thanks for my new cheese sauce recipe to use from now on Bea! Linda
