"I made this recently and it was very good, try this spread you will love it! Haven't tryed it yet but I think it may work great using spinach in place of the broccoli. Make sure to hand-squeeze out all the excess moisture in the broccoli before chopping. Cheddar cheese will work well also. Amounts listed will yield about 3 1/2 to 4 cups"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Hand-squeeze out all the excess moisture in the broccoli, then coarsely chop.
Step 2
In a bowl beat the cream cheese with sour cream, dry salad dressing mix and garlic until blended. Fold in the broccoli and 1 1/2 cups of Swiss cheese. Season with black pepper and hot sauce.
Step 3
Transfer to a greased shallow 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese; bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve warm with crackers.
