Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix (1 envelope)
  • 3 cups chopped broccoli (frozen, thawed)
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (divided)
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Assorted crackers

How to Make

  • Step 1: Hand-squeeze out all the excess moisture in the broccoli, then coarsely chop.

  • Step 2: In a bowl beat the cream cheese with sour cream, dry salad dressing mix and garlic until blended. Fold in the broccoli and 1 1/2 cups of Swiss cheese. Season with black pepper and hot sauce.

  • Step 3: Transfer to a greased shallow 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese; bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve warm with crackers.
