Week 1- TAG or REPORT -RZ Summer Vacation (archived)

Post by Sue » Wed May 15, 2013 11:21 pm

IMPORTANT NOTE: Recipes do not have to come from the Recipe Drive to be tagged. You may browse the drive for ideas, however, as members are advertising them to you as possible choices. You may select appropriate recipes from anywhere, just remember that if they are not posted on Zazz, you must upload them yourself, and agree to try it within the reviewing period. If you upload recipes you don't wish to try right now, upload them and you may choose to offer them to others in the recipe dirve in addition to your already posted recipes you want to advertise.
DON'T BE SHY about advertising your recipes in the recipe drive. It is very helpful to us to easily find recipes which can be tagged. Advertise as many as you want there. The more, the merrier! 8-)

REPORTING YOUR TAGS AS COMPLETE:
When you have a recipe you posted marked as tried and true, report it here.
Also report when your reviews are done on other people's recipes you have tagged.
It's OK if you tag something and make it and want to report early (before the tour departs to that place). It's all good. :D

I'll probably be going on all the tours except for Memorial Day. But I still need to find recipes to tag. :)

For now, I'll sign up for:

The London bus, and I'm tagging Derf's Boursin Spread http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/boursin-spread-8681
It sounds French to me but it's under British... :?
&
The Philippines bus, and I'll be posting and making a recipe called Filipino Cantalope Drink. :D

I'll let you post my sign-ups Sue so I can see the format you want to use. ;)

I still want to take the English Tour,
This should be in the Data Base very soon:
Easy Cheesy Scones
And just like Engrossed, I'll let Sue post it so I can see the format. :D

This is just fine.
I like the links to the ones in the database, so if there are recipes with the same title, I don't confuse them.
If recipes aren't posted yet, the title will suffice, as you guys can post the link later when it publishes (the same way it's done in "YWW? tag")

Okie Dokies...Looks good. I do think I may have to find another English recipe though, because I looked up that cheese and it is French. I'll update it when I do.

Yeah, Boursin is French, essentially a seasoned cream cheese, like a seasoned neufchatel. There may be English recipes that use it though, such as this one:
http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/cuis ... ursin.html

I don't mind if you want to do the recipe- I don't really want to split hairs with people over whether or not their recipe is accurately categorized. I think that is probably best left to who approves the recipes at Zazz. But your call.

I'm totally up for people's own interpretations and am easy going as far as what others want to tag. It just will bug me personally to cook something French for an English destination lol. I switched it out for your English Peas which I have everything for. :P
