My sweetheart and I are farmers! We grow Hard Red Spring Wheat and soybeans. A wheat grower and I am gluten intolerant! Go figure! So I am very interested in GF recipes and will be posting mine once I fine tune them and try enough of them. My better half is an eater of all foods so his favorites will be posted too!
Gardening (growing heirloom veggies,fruits,berries,and flowers) is one of my favorite hobbies.
Other hobbies are canning, dehydrating, freezing, cooking, baking, jelly, marmalade, jam and preserve making, and wine making.
I also am an avid reader of anything, collector of quotes, love cooking, baking, antique hunting, and I'm crazy about vintage anything. Must have had very interesting past lives! My interests are so varied!
Have a thing for cemetaries and love to take etchings and read the stones. The older the better! Cemetaries are beautiful and fascinating...I look for them on my travels where ever I go. Crazy girl! LOL
I have traveled quite a bit in my life..so farm life now agrees with me. You work really hard and for long hours in the spring, summer and fall, but the winters are laid back and relaxing when you aren't moving snow!!!
Love a learning environment and information. I am a research hound!
Miss the ocean like crazy as I was born and raised on the New England coast and later the West coast of Northern CA.. There is nothing like salt sea air, spending time on and in the water, and seafood!!! Yum! I am clicking my ruby slippers...there's no place like home! LOL
I am a lover of people, new places, new experiences and if it is by being a chairside adventurer these days, I will tap everyone's brain and be very happy doing this! I am a good listener! Share and share alike is my motto!
In the winter here (if it is not sub-zero weather)...I like to cross-country ski. Love skating, fishing, and long walks with my pup.
Outdoors is the life for me. :) But I do love a good mall!!!
