"I'm sure a lot of you have heard of Walnut Chocolate Chip Pie,and you might have even eaten it. Well,this is just like that but in bar form. If you don't want the Walnuts,just sub it with Pecans.Both baking times are included in " Cook Time " This makes 28 bars,but I guess if you want smaller pieces cut into 36.Posted to " ZAZZ " on 2/12/15. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a medium size bowl,whisk together flour and powdered sugar.
Step 3
Cut in butter until it looks like small peas or crumbled cornbread.
Step 4
Press mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan which has been prepared with cooking spray and bake for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Remove and let cool.
Step 6
Meanwhile in another medium size bowl,mix together condensed milk,egg,and vanilla.
Step 7
Then stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Step 8
Pour evenly over baked crust and bake for another 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 9
Cool completely and cut into desired amount of squares.
