Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Mix together brown sugar and butter until smooth.

Step 3

Stir in baking soda, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.

Step 4

Add eggs and stir until blended.

Step 5

Stir in oats, flour and raisins.

Step 6

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 2-inches apart.

Step 7

Bake 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step 8

Remove from cookie sheet at once and cool on wire rack.

Chewy cookies are a favorite of mine and I loved these! The time is right on, which is good for me because I tend to burn cookies even when I'm not trying (hehe).
