Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Step 2

Place chicken pieces in a 9 x 13 casserole sprayed with nonstick cooking spray

Step 3

Generously sprinkle chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste on both sides.

Step 4

Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes

Step 5

Meanwhile, in a microwaveable bowel, combine the ingredients and microwave on high for 30-45 seconds. Check it midway you don't want to have a buttery/honey explosion mess in your microwave.

Step 6

After 40 minutes, pour half of the sauce over the chicken, flipped the pieces and add the remaining sauce. Bake for another 10 minutes.

See I missed reviewing this excellent chicken recipe made awhile back. Other than scaling back for two people I made as posted for a great tasting meal, juicy and delicious! I must get to camera work as this looked as good as it tasted. I am guessing the honey takes this one over the top! Added to my family cookbook alongside our fav chicken breasts. Can't wait to serve it to family and friends.

I made this chicken, baking it for 60 minutes in total and it was moist and delicious. I wanted to make sure my chicken was cooked enough.

I reduced the sauce ingredients to half as I was only cooking two chicken breasts. I cooked it on the grill over indirect medium-high heat until it reached an internal temp of 165 degrees. This turned out perfectly moist, juicy and delish!
