this is comfort food at its best -- I did add a pkg of frozen peas but otherwise made as directed. Thanks for sharing!

I was having clean out of my over stocked pantry and fridge, and decided I had too much tinned tuna. I decided to make a casserole, and DH had doubled up on buying potato's ...... then luckily I found this recipe using both the tuna and potato's I did make a few changes to this recipe, but only by adding a few things I wanted to use up. My tuna was a large tin 425 grams (over double what was stated) but I wanted to use it all, I also had some sliced mushroom's and fresh herbs that needed to be used so I used them in the layers as well. Everything else in the recipe was used and layering was done as written. The only other change is that I had some stale bread and 1 packet of chips (crisps) so I processed them with the butter and used it as a topping. We absolutely loved this recipe and I will making this again. It was comfort food at its best! This is one recipe that can be changed up just a little and still taste fantastic. Thanks Annette and Bergy.
