Step by Step Method
Step 1
Bring a large saucepan of water to boil. lunge the tomatoes in the water, and hold them there for about 1 min. Remove the tomatoes from the water and hold them under cold running water to remove the skins.
Step 2
Cut the tomatoes horizontally and remove the seeds. Coarsely chop the tomatoes.
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add the beaten egg, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and cheese, stirring to coat the tomatoes.
Step 4
Shape the mixture into patties or balls, and deep fry in hot oil for about 30 seconds on each side or until golden.
Step 5
Drain on paper towels.
