Step by Step Method
TO MAKE THE SOUP
Step 1
Saute onion in butter. Add rest of ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the tomato cans out with the water.
Step 3
Bring all ingredients to a boil and mash the tomatoes.
Step 4
Spoon in dumplings with a teaspoon, dont stir them it will break the dumplings. Cover simmer 20 minutes.
TO MAKE THE DUMPLINGS
Step 5
Cut shortening onto flour. Add milk.
