Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a saucepan over medium low heat add the first 8 ingredients (-tomatoes) and bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Stir in the next 5 ingredients (onion - pepper) and reduce heat to a simmer and cook uncovered for 1- 1 1/4 hours or until mixture thickens, stirring frequently. Discard tomato skins with fork (as the tomatoes cook they will separate from tomato pulp). Remove from heat and let mixture cool in pan.
Step 3
