Great timing for this delicious salad recipe, so good with the lush and lovely vine ripened tomatoes fresh from the garden! Have made using olive oil as well as canola oil but always the apple cider vinegar which is just right for our tastes. Dh loves this tomato and onion combination and I especially love when easy looks and tastes so good. Do I dare admit that I have needed nothing other then this lovely salad for a number of my lunches.

I love a simple salad like this one -Enjoyed every bite. I used grape tomatoes so couldn't use whole slices of onion. The cider vinegar/oil dressing was just right. I used very little but still enough to add flavour to the salad Thanks Derf for a lovely lunch
