Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt butter over medium heat; add garlic and herbs and sauté for 1 minute.

Step 2

Increase heat to medium-high; add the flour and cook while whisking until the flour is fully cooked and no longer looks white.

Step 3

Pour in the milk.

Step 4

Cook and stir until mixture is bubbly and thickened.

Step 5

Reduce heat to low; stir in parmesan, salt and pepper. Cook until cheese is melted.

Step 6

Stir in sour cream.

Step 7

Add canned tomatoes and heat through.

Step 8

Add to your favourite cooked pasta.

Cut this down to half and I had enough for dinner last night and lunch today. Very tasty pasta dish. I loved all the ingredients so it sure hit the spot! I am going to zip it up with some Rotel tomatoes with green chilies when I make it next.
