Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (28 ounce) diced tomatoes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter over medium heat; add garlic and herbs and sauté for 1 minute.

  • Step 2: Increase heat to medium-high; add the flour and cook while whisking until the flour is fully cooked and no longer looks white.

  • Step 3: Pour in the milk.

  • Step 4: Cook and stir until mixture is bubbly and thickened.

  • Step 5: Reduce heat to low; stir in parmesan, salt and pepper. Cook until cheese is melted.

  • Step 6: Stir in sour cream.

  • Step 7: Add canned tomatoes and heat through.

  • Step 8: Add to your favourite cooked pasta.
