Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2
Place garlic cloves in boiling water. Blanch 3-4 minutes. Drain. Peel and set aside.
Step 3
Combine jalapeno, crushed garlic (NOT the cloves you just peeled), sausages and baking mix in food processor. Process until well combined.
Step 4
Add cheese and process until just combined.
Step 5
Shape mixture into balls.
Step 6
Press a peeled garlic clove into the center of each ball.
Step 7
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Step 8
Bake 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 9
These may be frozen after shaping. Bake them without thawing, but increase time an additional 5-10 minutes.
