Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2: Place garlic cloves in boiling water. Blanch 3-4 minutes. Drain. Peel and set aside.
Step 3: Combine jalapeno, crushed garlic (NOT the cloves you just peeled), sausages and baking mix in food processor. Process until well combined.
Step 4: Add cheese and process until just combined.
Step 5: Shape mixture into balls.
Step 6: Press a peeled garlic clove into the center of each ball.
Step 7: Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Step 8: Bake 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 9: These may be frozen after shaping. Bake them without thawing, but increase time an additional 5-10 minutes.
