"I used my recipe - #recipe2579 for this dish. If you don't plan to smoke your chicken, you can follow the same recipe for the brine and the seasoning and then just grill your chicken with or without wood chips, but it is amazing if the chicken is smoked - it just gives an amazing flavor to this dish. A simple mix of garlic, dijon mustard, apricot preserves and fresh ginger makes this the perfect glaze for this smoky chicken. After the chicken has smoked, either cut it up or glaze it as a whole chicken. Leave in the smoker an additional 10-15 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides. Lemony green beans, and a rice pilaf is a nice side to the chicken."

I didn't smoke my chicken but I did cook it on the grill so it had that nice charcoal flavor. This glaze really topped it off in style and taste! We love this chicken and the recipe was enjoyed by my neighbors and us at a barbecue we had over labor day weekend. Another recipe to pass on!
