"These are a great tasting muffin I make during strawberry season, the riper your strawberries are the sweeter these will be. Frozen strawberries do NOT work well in this recipe so make sure you are using fresh ones. I like to slice a few extra strawberries to top the muffins with."

Spoon into 12 paper lined muffin cups and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until dark golden brown. You can test these by inserting a toothpick in the middle of muffin; if it comes out dry the muffins are ready.
