Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix together the sherry, soy sauce and cornstarch. Add beef and let it rest for 20 minutes
Step 2
Heat wok or skillet, add 1 tablespoon oil add garlic, stir fry 1 minute, add mushrooms continue cooking 2 minutes
Step 3
Add 2 tablespoons oil, add beef and stir fry until nicely browned and the mushrooms are golden, about 5 minutes
Step 4
Add green onion and contimue cooking for 1 more minute, pour in the chicken stock, and bring to a boil, keep at simmer and add the broccoli, cover and cook 3-4 minutes. Do not over cook the broccoli
