" Very easy tasty recipe. Broccoli & beef really are best friends. Don't overcook the broccoli, leave some crunch in it. Serve over rice or noodles. The 10 minute prep time does not include the 20 minute beef marinade time."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix together the sherry, soy sauce and cornstarch. Add beef and let it rest for 20 minutes

Step 2

Heat wok or skillet, add 1 tablespoon oil add garlic, stir fry 1 minute, add mushrooms continue cooking 2 minutes

Step 3

Add 2 tablespoons oil, add beef and stir fry until nicely browned and the mushrooms are golden, about 5 minutes

Step 4

Add green onion and contimue cooking for 1 more minute, pour in the chicken stock, and bring to a boil, keep at simmer and add the broccoli, cover and cook 3-4 minutes. Do not over cook the broccoli

Quick, Easy and TASTY!!!! What more could you ask for.... I made 2 slight changes because of what I had on hand, omitted the mushrooms and used beef stock instead of chicken stock and used chopped onions. Thx for sharing this tasty recipe.
