Step by Step Method
Step 1
Prepare the sauce. Put all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until cornstarch has no lumps
Prepare the chicken

Heat a skillet or wok over medium heat , put in oil and allow it to heat

Put the diced chicken into a bowl and season it. Sprinkle the chicken with cornstarch and use a spatula to coat

Turn the heat up to medium high. Arrange chicken into an even layer and dont crowd. Cook on each side 4-6 minutes, flip and do the other side. Keep cooking in batches transfer to a bowl and set aside
Aromatics

Heat the remaining oil and add aromatic ingredients. Cook for one minute.
Sauce
Step 6
Put all sauce ingredients into the skillet. Bring to a boil
Step 7
Reduce heat to medium low and cook continuously stirring for 3-5 minutes until thick.
Step 8
Put cooked chicken into sauce and stir to coat.cook over low heat 2-3 minutes
