"I made up this sauce to have over pasta - I didn't want any tomato based so I opened the cupboard and went from there. It is a very versatile recipe as you may use it as a sloppy joe or in a tastado - even as the sauce on a pizza. We enjoyed it I hope you will too. You may sub your own favorite burger spice mix."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
On a lightly oiled skillet brown the hamburger, separat the meat so there are no lumps, about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add onion and garlic to the pan, continue cooking for another 5 minutes, stirring often
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients, stir well
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper
Step 5
Cover and continue simmering the sauce for a further 10 minutes
Step 6
Serve over your favorite pasta
