Step by Step Method

Step 1

In 9x13 casserole, layer rice on bottom of pan.

Step 2

Season lightly.

Step 3

Add layer of vegetables and pork chops, season lightly.

Step 4

Top with soup, cover with water, dot with butter.

Step 5

Cover with tin foil.

Step 6

Bake 60 minutes, 425 degrees or until pork chops are done.

Oh so yummy! This is going to be a keeper/repeat. The only suggestion I'd make is to add salt and pepper to both the pork chops and the rice mixture before baking. The pork was tender and the rice with onions, green peppers, and carrots was pure comfort food. Thank you!

Daily Inspiration

These pork chops were delicious - who knew a can of tomato soup could jazz up pork chops so nicely. The pork chops were so tender and the rice made a great addition. I did leave out the carrots and I used roasted red bell pepper vs. green; otherwise made as directed and I will be making these pork chops again very soon.
