"I was looking for a salad recipe to use up my end of season snow peas, and came across this wonderful recipe from Gourmet Traveller. Winter was nearly gone and this made for the perfect salad for a perfectly warm spring evening, a salad the whole family enjoyed. I used a mix of white and black sesame and used chives instead of the snow pea tendrils. Although I am posting this recipe as written."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Blanch snow peas in boiling water in batches until bright green (1-2 minutes) then drain and refresh in iced water until chilled (2-4 minutes), & drain well.

Step 2

For sesame dressing, whisk all the ingredients in a bowl to combine and season to taste.

Step 3

Combine snow peas and snow pea tendrils or chives in a bowl, drizzle with the sesame dressing, toss to combine and serve scattered with sesame seeds.
