"A warming fall/winter drink that is ready and waiting when you come in from raking leaves or shopping. (can also be made on the stove in a large, non-reactive pot, simmering for a couple of hours)"
Put all of the ingredients into a 3-qt Slow Cooker and stir. Cover with lid and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
Ladle into mugs through a small strainer (to strain out whole spices).
