Step by Step Method

Step 1

Put all of the ingredients into a 3-qt Slow Cooker and stir. Cover with lid and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

Ladle into mugs through a small strainer (to strain out whole spices).

We had this tonight. I made it in a four quart crock pot exactly as directed except I used ground cardamom. It smelled great when it was done. It was definitely worth the wait and we would not mind having this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Loved it Mikekey! I love spiced ciders and this just hit the spot. I had every intention in making this during Christmas, but wound up making it for New Years and I'm glad I did because I was relaxed enough to take a picture. I love the ease of putting it in a crockpot and forgetting about it. The house smelled great and it tastes even better....just so warming to the soul. Thank you Mike for sharing. Made it for Pick Me tag game.

Wonderful! I skipped the star anise and didn't have quite as much cider as the recipe stated, but this is very good and great on cold days! Thanks for sharing!
