Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 quarts apple cider (non-alcoholic)
  • 1/2 large orange (cut in half)
  • 2 cups cranberries (whole fresh or frozen cranberries)
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 6 whole allspice berries
  • 1/8 teaspoon cardamom seeds (or about 8 whole pods, crushed)
  • 1 piece (1 inch) fresh gingerroot (peeled)
  • 2 pieces (3 inch each) cinnamon stick
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 1 whole star anise

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put all of the ingredients into a 3-qt Slow Cooker and stir. Cover with lid and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
