"This healthy dish is so tasty and super easy to put together, it tends to itself while you are away. I get this ready in the morning on a workday and come home to a tasty main dish. The original recipe is from a slow-cooker weekly meal plan and it called for serving this with green beans but it works well with any steamed vegetable."

Step 1

So good! I haven't been shopping and I wish I would have had mashed potatoes with it. The mustard would have been great with it. I only cooked mine 4 1/2 hours on high; could have been less but I wasn't home. The old me wanted lots more syrup. The new me says it's fine. :-)

Bergy (RIP" Forever in our Kitchen)

This recipe gives a very mellow , pleasant flavor to the chicken. When I was putting the ingredients together I was thinking this will never work however I remembered the photo of the recipe and how appetizing it looked so I persevered. I am sure glad that I did. Not only is the recipe healthy it is easy and delicious. It goes into my favorites
