The original recipe is from a slow-cooker weekly meal plan and it called for serving this with green beans but it works well with any steamed vegetable."

This recipe gives a very mellow , pleasant flavor to the chicken. When I was putting the ingredients together I was thinking this will never work however I remembered the photo of the recipe and how appetizing it looked so I persevered. I am sure glad that I did.
