Step by Step Method

Step 1

In medium mixing bowl

Step 2

Combine all the sauces & spices.

Step 3

Remove about 1/2 cup of the mixture and refrigerate for later

Step 4

Add the chicken wings to a large slow cooker, then cover with the remaining sauce mixture.

Step 5

Stir until wings are well-coated.

Step 6

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Step 7

Once done, set oven to broil.

Step 8

Line a baking sheet with foil.

Step 9

Remove wings from slow cooker and place on the lined baking sheet.

Step 10

Drizzle with some of the slow cooker sauce if desired.

Step 11

Broil for approximately 2 minutes.

Step 12

Remove pan from oven,

Step 13

Flip wings, and brush wings with the remaining sauce mixture that you saved out.

Step 14

Return to oven and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, until sauce starts to caramelize.

I made these for our Super Bowl dinner and it was a hit. I loved that I wasn't cooking while the game was on. We all loved the flavor of these wings. A winner!

Wonderful wings -- they tend to fall apart a bit in the slow cooker if left for too long, but delicious anyways. One sub I made was instead of garlic powder I used garlic salt but otherwise made as directed. Thanks for sharing!
