Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 bottle (18 ounces ) barbecue sauce,( 2 cups)
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: In medium mixing bowl

  • Step 2: Combine all the sauces & spices.

  • Step 3: Remove about 1/2 cup of the mixture and refrigerate for later

  • Step 4: Add the chicken wings to a large slow cooker, then cover with the remaining sauce mixture.

  • Step 5: Stir until wings are well-coated.

  • Step 6: Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

  • Step 7: Once done, set oven to broil.

  • Step 8: Line a baking sheet with foil.

  • Step 9: Remove wings from slow cooker and place on the lined baking sheet.

  • Step 10: Drizzle with some of the slow cooker sauce if desired.

  • Step 11: Broil for approximately 2 minutes.

  • Step 12: Remove pan from oven,

  • Step 13: Flip wings, and brush wings with the remaining sauce mixture that you saved out.

  • Step 14: Return to oven and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, until sauce starts to caramelize.
