Step by Step Method

Step 1

Take all the dry ingredients and mix together,then rub mix evenly over roast.

Step 2

Place into crockpot then cover with onions, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours depending on how hot your crockpot runs.

Step 3

Remove roast, using two forks shred meat to blend in onions.At this time taste to see if you need to adjust seasonings.

Flavor was good, but I had trouble with the meat being tough and stringy. Not sure what went wrong.

Excellent!!! Wonderful seasoning, moist and tender. Lots of lovely juices that we enjoyed over rice. So easy to prep before work so that it is ready at the end of a long day. Will make again. Thanks shapeweaver!
