In a skillet melt the butter and add the tomatoes, chives, basil and salt. Cook, tossing lightly until tomatoes begin to pop (under 5 minutes) and serve.

I made this recipe exactly as written ~ although I think I should have pan fried the tomatoes a little longer. This still made for a quick and easy breakfast to start the day.

Quick easy and good. Using cherry tomatoes I had on hand before my grocery shop and adding freshly snipped chives from the garden made for a delicious side. Have made similar recipes, really liked the addition of the chives. Made for one of those "why did I not think of that" moments!
