Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a pressure cooker, fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden.
Step 2
Add the lamb cubes and stir for few minutes until half done.
Step 3
Add the tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, chicken stock cubes (2) and 3 cups of water.
Step 4
Close the cooker and cook meat on medium heat for almost 30 minutes until it is done.
Step 5
Remove pressure cooker from heat and wait until all steam escapes before opening.
Step 6
Open the cooker, add the Quaker oatmeal, white pepper, black pepper, salt to taste and water if needed.
Step 7
Put the cooker back on low heat while continuing to stir, until the oatmeal is cooked, for about 20 minutes.
Step 8
Serve the soup hot with a squeeze of lemon.
