"This is very similar to my '5 Ingredient Spicy Seafood Sauce' #recipe10301 but, I consider this my classic tarter sauce recipe. It's super easy to prepare; and, it is the perfect compliment to any fried, grilled, or baked fish. Now, fresh lemon and herbs is really important in this recipe - so, make sure to try to use those."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Sauce ... Simply add everything to a small bowl and mix to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer before serving.

Step 2

Notes ... Now, sometimes I will add some of the scallion greens or even chives. I've even added a splash of the pickle juice too. Basically, you have the 'classic recipe;' and now ... you can make it your own. For my personal taste - I usually cut back a bit on the mayonnaise; but, my friends prefer it as is. Again, make it your own.

Step 3

Serve and ENJOY!
