  • The following recipe serves 8-16 people.

Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (no Miracle Whip)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dill pickle relish, fine diced (if you don't have dill pickle relish, plain chopped dill pickles are fine)
  • 1 tablespoon scallions, small diced (white parts only - you can always use a shallot or white onion)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon capers, chopped
  • Hot sauce, to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce, dash
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • OPTIONAL
  • Scallion greens (a few, or chives)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sauce ... Simply add everything to a small bowl and mix to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer before serving.

  • Step 2: Notes ... Now, sometimes I will add some of the scallion greens or even chives. I've even added a splash of the pickle juice too. Basically, you have the 'classic recipe;' and now ... you can make it your own. For my personal taste - I usually cut back a bit on the mayonnaise; but, my friends prefer it as is. Again, make it your own.
