Step by Step Method

Step 1

Sift flour into a bowl.

Step 2

Cut in butter.

Step 3

Mix in sour cream.

Step 4

Form into a ball, wrap, and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 375° F.

Step 6

Beat cream cheese until soft.

Step 7

Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy.

Step 8

Mix in sour cream, butter, salt and sugar.

Step 9

Place dough on lightly flour surface and roll out to 1/8" thickness.

Step 10

Cut out in 3" circles.

Step 11

Place 2 teaspoons of cheese mixture in the center of each circle.

Step 12

Pinch sides together to form cups open at the top.

Step 13

Brush with beaten egg yolk.

Step 14

Place on baking sheet.

Step 15

Bake until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
