Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F. On a baking sheet, toss together the cauliflower, garlic slices, bacon and olive oil.

Step 2

Roast for 25-30 minutes until bacon is crisp and cauliflower is cooked through. Season the roasted cauliflower with salt and pepper to taste.

OPTIONAL: You can sprinkle the roasted cauliflower with grated cheese of your choice, right after it comes out of the oven.

We love roasted cauliflower, and the bacon just adds a wonderful element to it - the bacon came out so crispy and imparted such a great flavor. We are big on veggies, so this served 2-3 for us.

Made for the FF&F What’s on the Menu? Tag Game, this was indeed a quick, easy & great recipe. I added some small carrot chunks to the cauliflower & doubled the garlic plus bacon to allow for the addition, but resisted the temptation to also add extra olive oil. I felt the rendered bacon fat would be enough to keep the veggies moist & add a flavor dimension. The recipe must have overcome my playful nature or my thinking was right because this was outstanding & is among my favorites so far in 2015. Thx for posting this recipe for us (A pic will post tomorrow).
