Refreshing Coleslaw

"This is such a refreshing change from the normal mayo based coleslaws. Of course if you want it more tart, just add more vinegar, sweeter-more sugar..."

Step 1

Add vinegar, sugar and olive oil to a bowl and stir until sugar is dissolved. Salt and pepper the dressing. Set aside.

Step 2

Slice cabbage and peel and grate the apple. Add to the dressing and mix thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate atleast 1 hour, but longer is better for flavors. Enjoy!

What a nice fresh tasting salad this is. A keeper in my books. I used a coleslaw mix and this worked out well.

wow the name sure suits this coleslaw, very refreshing, we love the simple dressing, so easy and quick to put together. It will brighten up any meal, i will sure be making this again, thanks for posting.
