These potatoes are great. I halved the recipe for just me and enjoyed them with 2 meals - with and without the corn flake topping. I can't wait to make these again for my family. Thanks for sharing this great keeper, NE Lady.

This was an awesome way to spruce up plain mashed potatoes. I used a round 2-quart baking dish, and like another reviewer, I only needed a little more than half of the buttered cornflake topping, and it was more than sufficient for the size of baking dish I used. But this is such an awesome recipe, and everyone loved it. Thank you for a wonderful recipe, NELady. This will definitely be repeated in my house (and probably quite often).

Everyone liked this dish. We only used about half the cereal on top.

Chef Potpie

Just looking at the ingredients told me I couldn't go wrong with this recipe! What a wonderful potato dish. When Hubs watched me throw all that cheese and bacon in there he could hardly wait for dinner. He even ate some leftover for breakfast this morning! I'll be bringing these to our next family barbeque. Thanks for sharing this recipe NELady, it's another winner!
