Step by Step Method

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (hot).

Sift dry ingredients together and whisk in cornmeal.
Step 4
Add eggs to milk and add to dry ingredients.
Step 5
Add melted lard and mix just until combined. Don't over mix.
Step 6
Bake in hot oven 20 minutes or until done.
