  • 2 tablespoons lard, melted (shortening)
  • 3/4 cup milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (hot).

  • Step 2: Grease and Pam spray muffin pan. (They just greased)

  • Step 3: Sift dry ingredients together and whisk in cornmeal.

  • Step 4: Add eggs to milk and add to dry ingredients.

  • Step 5: Add melted lard and mix just until combined. Don't over mix.

  • Step 6: Bake in hot oven 20 minutes or until done.
