"This sure makes a lot...I cut the recipe in half and was able to get two nice size salads using more lettuce and I have enough leftover for a couple of chicken salad sandwiches for lunch...I used white vinegar because I'm not sure what other kinds were around during the 1800's...this is a good example of how our taste buds have changed over the years...made for "FYC" tag game...
