"Peach ice cream is President Carter's favorite flavor,(Georgia remember?) He probably has a tree. This recipe is from Southern Living so it's probably close. The masters also put a scoop between 2 very good sugar cookies to make a peach ice cream sandwich."

I have to start by saying that I only had half the amount of peaches I needed. The peach flavor was faint because of that. I used white peaches. I would like to make this again. Also, it makes a lot. If you have a 1 1/2 quart ice cream maker, you will need to half the recipe. I just kinda did a round two with the remaining ice cream. Thanks, Jimmy.
