"This has been a family favorite for so long that I can't remember exactly where it came from. My daughter makes it when ever she can. The crisp can be made with any fruit pie filling. It is amazing fresh out of the oven with a scoop of ice cream. I also like it cold out of the refrigerator."

I made this using just apples and made my own filling with apples and sugar on the stove, and it was excellent! My son had 2 bowls with ice cream and told me to save him some to bring home. Gotta love that kid!
