Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine mashed potatoes, onion powder. egg, green onion, shredded cheese and 1/2 cup flour in a large bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Spoon up about 1/3 cup of the mixture, shape into balls.
Step 3
Roll each into flour, then flattened into patties.
Step 4
Melt butter and oil in large skillet over medium heat.
Step 5
Fry each patty in the skillet about 5 minutes each side until golden brown.
Step 6
Garnish with chopped chives
