Pork Sausage Burger
"This recipe is from Bon Appetit, 2014 by Alia Muzio. Add any other condiments that you like. Delicious, moist tasty burger. You must satrt out with lean nicely spiced (know your butcher and his sausages) ground sausage meat. I think you will be surprised the difference the wine & honey makes to the peppers. This is a very easy great burger"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Form 4 Patties from the ground meat.
Step 2
Heat a skillet over medium heat lightly sprayed with oil.
Step 3
Fry the patties until nicely brown and cooked through (about 5 minutes per side).
Step 4
While the patties are cooking in another pan, over medium heat, add oil, the peppers and onions, cover.
Step 5
Stir often, cook until wilted and soft (8-10 minutes).
Step 6
Add wine and honey.
Step 7
Cook stirring (about 2 minutes).
Step 8
Season with Salt & pepper.
Step 9
Place patties on toasted bottom of the buns, top with peppers & onions.
