Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil, and add onions.

Cook until transparent.

Add garlic, turmeric, lentils and stir.

Add oatmeal and stir.

Add broth and season to taste.

Simmer 40 minutes, stirring so doesn't stick to bottom.
Step 7
At very end stir in parsley and lemon juice.
Step 8
Check seasoning.
Step 9
Serve lemon wedges on the side.
