"Using ground turkey instad of ground beef cuts back on calories & fat content. It still can have lots of flavour - this recipe does. Use whatever oolour pepper that is on sale that week. I like my pepper just heatd through so it is actually still like raw but warm. If you like your pepper soft pre cook them in boiling water for 3 minutes or microwave them for a minute or so.
There is always seems to be some stuffing left over. I like to spread it around stuffed pepper in the baking dish and cook it along with the peppers.
NB The photo obviously was taken before the final step of adding the cheese."
Stir-fry the turkey, onions & garlic until the turkey is cooked.
Mix in the tomatoes, Montreal spice, hot sauce, thyme, rosemary, rice, crumbs.
Fill the four pepper halves
If you like spread any leftover stuffing around the stuffed halves or save it for another use.
Be generous with the filling packing it down fairly well.
Bake covered in 350F oven for 25 minutes.
Top with cheese bake another 10 minutes until he cheese has melted and is golden.
